Update 13-09:
We regret to inform you that 2Z's highly anticipated European tour has been cancelled. GOGO2020's CEO, Jay Chung, has released a statement explaining the situation:
The decision to cancel was made jointly by the tour promoter and GOGO2020.
Poor ticket sales were cited as the primary reason for cancellation.
The company tried to find alternatives until the last minute but ultimately couldn't proceed as scheduled.
The tour had already been postponed once due to the Paris Olympics in June.
2Z was particularly excited to meet their European fans, especially those who supported them since their debut and through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jay Chung took full responsibility for the cancellation and apologized to the fans. He assured that this is not the end and promised to work on bringing 2Z to Europe as soon as possible.
GOGO2020 expressed deep gratitude to all supporters and asked for continued support during this difficult time. They promised to return with a better image and provide updates as the situation improves.
We'll keep you informed of any new developments regarding 2Z's future European tour plans. Update 05/06: See this update from tour organizer TICKET.KPOP about the postponement of the tour:
Hello this is Ticket Kpop,
As the organizer of 2Z and Nam Dong Hyun's European tour, we regret to inform our fans that the tour schedule has been changed. The concerts were initially scheduled for June 21st, 23rd, and 24th in Frankfurt, Paris, and Lisbon respectively. However, due to the Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris in July, we have encountered more difficulties in preparing for the concert than anticipated. Considering the scale of this global sports event, we have faced many challenges in promotion and marketing due to the overlap with the Olympics.
Therefore, to meet with more European fans with a higher quality performance after the Olympics, the production company has decided to postpone the schedule and expand the tour to include London, UK, in September.
The new postponed schedule is as follows:
September 25th, London - England
September 27th, Lisbon - Portugal
September 28th, Paris - France
September 29th, Frankfurt, Germany
We hope you understand it was a difficult decision, but in order to provide the best concert experience for both fans and artists, we decided to postpone the tour for better performance and more elaborate preparations.
We promise to repay our fans' support with a higher quality performance and fantastic performances. Moreover, to make the most of the artists' visit to Europe and meet more fans, we have added a city to the tour. This requires more time and preparation.
Furthermore, fans who wish for a refund will be able to request for one, and those attending the postponed concert they can keep their actual tickets and will receive special benefits.
For VIP and GOLD ticket purchasers will be provided with a signed version of 2Z's 7th EP [DO NOT DISTURB]. Standard ticket holders will receive a set of photocards for both artists.
Additionally, a raffle system will be available for fans of all ticket types, offering a chance to have a video call with the members of 2Z and Nam Dong Hyun.
We wanted to share these benefits with our fans today and will return soon with a new notice containing all the details. But please keep in mind already that only the tickets that have been bought before 4th June 10PM KST
