Balming Tiger is a musical collective taking its name from the famous Asian ointment "Tiger Balm". Balming Tiger describes itself as a "multinational alternative K-pop group" eager to make an impact on a global scale.
Balming Tiger reflects and represents the younger generation of today's society, and aims to further popularize Asian culture worldwide.
The collective is made up of artists Omega Sapien, sogumm, Bjwnjn and Mudd l'étudiant, producers San Yawn and Unsinkable, video directors Jan' qui and Leesuho, visual artist Hong Chanhee, DJ Abyss and writer Henson Hwang. Each artist expresses a different identity and artistic energy.
From their first mixtape "Balming Tiger vol.1: 虎媄304" to their hit single "SEXY NUKIM (feat. RM of BTS)", Balming Tiger takes advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet and uses it as a platform for spreading music. They choose to approach music from a versatile point of view rather than a recurring genre.
Recently, their new single "SOS" was unveiled ahead of the band's first compilation, due for release in the second half of 2024!
