If I could sum up this concert it would start with an airhorn sound effect.
It’s the 2nd of October and people have lined up outside of the venue. Once inside it’s clear that people are excited there are fan made banners and the locker area is filled with chatter. Fans are queuing up to get merch whilst others rush towards the stage, wanting to get the perfect spot to see the performance.
Starting the evening DJ Millenium gets the crowd pumped as he plays the final song “Tatsy” by none other than B.I to kick off the night. The lights turn off and the crowd is filled with screams of excitement. “Michelangelo” is the first song and together with an impressive lightshow in combination with many airhorns. The dancers take to the stage and fans are singing along, the night has only just started but it is clear to say that the stage presence is on point. Perfectly timed confetti hits the air for the first time during “Alive” as B.I falls back.
From “Illa Illa”, “Loved”, “Numb” B.I is performing many of his songs and the fans are definitely enjoying it. But when “4 Letters” starts playing some fan hearts might have given out on the first few rows as B.I decided to step down the stage going into the barricade whilst he keeps on singing.

Afterwards he is clearly out of breath but he keeps checking in if everyone is doing alright, requesting even more energy whilst he himself is still taking a moment to breath.
“BTBT”, “Keep me up”, “NERD” and of course “Tasty” at that moment there is no more backdrop needed as the fans are singing “Tasty” along just fine. Some jaws might have dropped to the floor when B.I pulled his shirt open clearly showing that he was sweating from the hot stage lamps shining down on him.
Later on during “To die” we are given a dance off between the dancers, B.I and the DJ. I don’t think I have ever heard so many people laugh during a concert when the DJ took to the stage during “Idol” giving us the cutest ‘twerk’ out there. Fans are clapping along and cheering as each of the so called four members have a moment to shine.
B.I clearly gives a lot about his fans as he checks in again but also tells them to make a big X signal with their arms if anyone is indeed of help. Free water bottles get handed out to the first few rows and he steps down again to the barricade as it’s time for a cultural lesson. Asking his fans a easy Dutch line he can learn to say “Ik hou van jou♡” Followed with more crowd selfies it’s clear he feels comfortable and safe down in the barricade. Talking about his little sister, she is a fan of ZeroBaseOne but now she moved on and now likes NCT.
Photography by Tessa The stage is a lot of fun, but it’s time for the encore. After a short break he comes back wearing his touch merch and takes a picture with a Dutch flag taken from the crowd.
The dancers and the Dj at this point have turned into professional videographers as they don’t take just one, no more like four phones from fans all at once and film B.I and themselves close on the stage. Fans are literally tossing their phones from the 1st row at the dancers and DJ, so they can film B.I op close. I think maybe a total of 40+ fan’s phones have made it up on the stage getting footage from B.I up close.
All with all it was a very TASTY concert and we can’t wait for him to return to NL.
