"We're always with InSomnia" is a promise Dreamcatcher surely means to keep as the seven year old group embarked on their fourth European tour, visiting nine countries in the span of 3 weeks.

KpopConcertsEurope was able to catch a glimpse of the seven members and interview them right before their Luck Inside 7 Doors tour in Europe started, thanks to MyMusicTaste and Dreamcatcher Company.

The Venue

Stadthalle Offenbach is a convention center that opened in 1966 in Offenbach am Main, Germany. Famous artists like Die Ärzte, Kiss, Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd have performed at Stadthalle before.

If you're travelling from Frankfurt, you have to take S-Bahn to Offenbach Marktplatz and then hop on Bus 101 to Markwaldstraße. The ride takes about half an hour from Frankfurt main train station.

The Organization

The tour was organized by MyMusicTaste.

Unfortunately, the space in front of the venue wasn't big enough to hold the approximately 3000 fans. Fans were encouraged to split up into their assigned tiers but eventually most ended up in the queue for tier 1, so there had been a bit of chaos right before entry started.

The Concert

After two years, the "Face of Rock in K-Pop" Dreamcatcher finally came back to Germany. For their "Luck Inside 7 Doors" tour, which will take them to a total of nine European countries, the seven members gave it their all.

The concert started at 20:00 on the dot with Dreamcatcher's last title track "OOTD", which got the crowd going wild. After "Black and White" and "You & I", in which rapper Dami enchanted the fans with her choreography, the group introduced themselves in German, to which InSomnia responded with cheers. Dami's "Servus" in particular triggered cries of joy from the 3,000 fans. While the group was still introducing themselves, Dreamcatcher interacted with their fans - waving, finger hearts or flying kisses for the crowd? No problem for the group, who celebrated their seventh anniversary a few weeks ago.

In addition to interactions that left the crowd screaming for more, Dreamcatcher asked fans not to catch a cold, as there were fans waiting outside the Stadthalle in Offenbach all day. But that wasn't the only concern the group shared with the audience that evening: several times Dreamcatcher had to ask the fans to take a few steps back to make room for each other. If people in the crowd weren't feeling well, they were to signal an "X" over their heads with their arms and the paramedics would take care of InSomnia.

The setlist of the "Luck Inside 7 Doors" tour was a wonderful mix of old and new: in addition to playing songs off of their last two albums "Villains" and "Apocalypse: From Us", Dreamcatcher brought back their old hit songs. In addition to "Diamond" and "Wake Up", Dreamcatcher also performed a metal version of their 2019 song "The Curse of the Spider". The fans liked this new arrangement so much that Dami commented at the end of the concert that she felt like she was at a festival because InSomnia were headbanging the whole time.

Dreamcatcher is truly the group that brings together established K-pop fans and metalheads. This was especially evident when Dreamcatcher encouraged the fans to jump and scream along - only to call them "sweet and full of passion" a few minutes later. You could especially feel InSomnia's passion during "Deja Vu", as fans joined in the fanchant of the song.

A highlight of the night was definitely the German language skills that Dreamcatcher showcased. Alongside the youngest member Gahyeon, who learned the word "gell", 29-year-old SuA showed her best Gen Z side and explained that Dreamcatcher and InSomnia are practically family. That's why they could do the concert "Auf Lock". Yoohyeon gave her farewell speech entirely in German and hoped that the fan base, which is getting bigger and bigger, would not forget Dreamcatcher after the concert.

Considering that InSomnia continuously shouted "I love you" in German and Korean, which the group acknowledged with a big smile and a gentle "Me too", it can be assured that fans are waiting for JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Handong, Dami and Gahyeon to return to Germany again soon.
