South Korean girlgroup PIXY embarked on their second European tour, visiting nine countries in total and enchanting the crowd. Member SUA was unfortunately not able to join their European tour due to a biking accident and member LOLA was out sick on the day of their Berlin date which meant DIA, RINJI and DAJEONG were lighting up the stage as a trio.
KpopConcertsEurope was able to catch a glimpse of the charming girlgroup in Berlin! Thanks to tour organizer 4bb, we were allowed to take pictures close to the stage. Scroll down to see all pictures!

The Venue
SO36 is a club in Berlin that's full of history. It's been part of the more leftist past and future of the city, explicitly stating homophobia, racism and sexism were not allowed at the club.
SO36 itself is located in Kreuzberg, a creative part of Berlin, and is about 10 minutes by foot away from U-Bahn station "Kottbusser Tor". Try not to get lost while wandering through the streets of Berlin though! If you haven't been to the club before, it might take a while to find it.
SO36 holds about 500 people for one show and PIXY's show was at an estimated capacity of 50-60% that night, leaving enough room to dance, sing and jump freely.
The Organization
The tour was organized by 4bb and Envol Prod. We were in contact with 4bb who was in charge of organizing the German and Polish dates of PIXY's "Last Night In The Dark City" European tour.
A few weeks before the show was about to start, it was announced Holland - Korea's first gay idol who publicly came out - was going to join the European tour. Unfortunately, just a few days after this exciting announcement, the first three dates of the tour (Spain, Hungary and Czech Republic) were cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.
The Concert
As mentioned in the beginning, LOLA was out sick and came on stage to apologize for having falling sick and not being able to perform with the rest of the group.
WINXY - PIXY's fans - were understandably worried but told the girlgroup member in both English and Korean it was okay and that they loved her.
With the stage being set, PIXY opened their fiery show with their last comeback "KARMA", earning cheers and fanchants from the excited crowd. The set continued with other title tracks such as "Wings", "Villain" or "Addicted" and WINXY surely did not hold back their excitement at seeing PIXY's thrilling songs with their hyponotizing choreographies live and in person.
After finishing the first part of their set, Holland took the stage. The author has never seen a "mid set" like that before but it surely switched up the mood, going from dark pop songs to club bangers like an unreleased song the out idol performed that surely would be part of every Pride's playlist. Cheers in the crowd grew louder and you could really tell Holland's announcement drew in more fans that came to see that night's show. Particularly funny was an exchange the singer had with one fan who shouted "You're so pretty!" to which he just replied, smilingly of course, "I know". After a short set and a promise to hopefully go on tour himself next spring, Holland left the stage again - under protest of fans who would've loved to see more - and PIXY took the stage again.
The girls took their time to really connect with their audience as they played a short round of Q&A, answering questions like "What do you miss most while being on tour: food or your bed" (the members said they miss their family members and WINXY the most) and "Who's your favorite Disney movie" (the concert felt like a Disney movie to PIXY). They also showed their versatility by dancing to NewJeans' hit song "Hype Boy", (G)I-DLE's crowd favorite "Queencard" and teased their song "Truth or Dare" for one verse - but not without joking that the crowd needed to show more reaction. After the Q&A that got everyone shouting and cheering for more, they performed some of their B-sides, namingly "Whisper", "Greedy" or "P.S.".
To everyone's surprise, Lola joined her three members on stage as they dived into a set of slow songs with the members sitting on stools and really taking in the crowd in front of them. You could tell, though, that Lola was not feeling well because she was gripping her chest and throat every now and then, leading Dia to consoling and hugging her.
For one last energetic song, the trio gave it their all while performing "Call Me" before taking a pictures with WINXY and leaving everyone yearning for more.
We hope Sua and Lola recover swiftly and without problems and come back to Europe soon!
