The freezing temperatures in Amstelveen a city bordering Amsterdam did not stop the fans of Rolling Quartz to flock to the P60 venue where Rolling quartz would perform that night. The small venue creates an intimate setting.
The light dim and the girls enter the stage one by one greeting the audience with smiles and waves and in return they were greeted with screams and waves from the audience. They opened their setlist with a cover of the classic Highway to Hell by AC/DC which got the crowd going within seconds. A smooth transition into their own song Higher was made and the energy was high in the venue from the beginning.

In the first ment Jayoung asked about who has been to their preview show in Amsterdam and about half the crowd put their hands up, she follows up with asking who was here to see them for the first time and seeing the amount of hands going up she ended the ment with “We will make sure you want to come see us again”
The next two songs were covers, Amsterdam by Imagine dragons and Good Night by dreamcatcher. The girls were all individually introduced and played impressive ‘mini-solos’ when introduced. The energy never seemed to go down by even 1% as they moved on to the song Blaze, Rock’n’Roll Paradise and their Lady Gaga cover Bad Romance.
In the second ment Yeongeun talked about that being able to perform here today was like a gift for her, and hoped it also felt like a gift for us. Hyunjung mentioned that she’d hope that the precious relationship between them and their fans would continue for a long time.
The next song is a classic in Korea and they hoped it would also become a classic here, the song Azalea originally by MAYA starts of slow but the energy soon goes up. Holler and Fearless kept the crowd going without stop.
It was already time for the last ment, time seemed to fly tonight. Iree shared new years wishes in dutch that she specially learned for today’s show, this of course was answered with loud cheers from the crowd. Iree hoped that everyones year would be filled with only good thing and thanked the crowd for listening to their music and coming into her life, we gave her a large amount of strength to do what she does.

The last part of the show was filled with hit songs like Red Wine, Delight, Victory and Re.bold. Arem did a little bass solo with the classic riffs of Greensleeves, which flowed right into the next song Stand Up. Along the other covers they did they ended to concert with covers of Zitti E Buoni from Maneskin a mash up of Pink Venom and Mic drop from Black Pink and BTS and last but not least Sing your heart out by Crying Nut.
The Encore was nothing less than iconic with the song Helena by My Chemical Romance.
Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without a picture so everyone huddles together and posed for the picture, afterwards the girls stayed on the stage a little longer to say goodbye and throw some guitar picks into the crowd for people to catch.
