The South Korean electronic duo High Tension is about to surge through MEX Berlin on October 26, bringing their unique blend of electronica, electro-pop, progressive house, synth-pop, dubstep, and rock to the capital of Germany. They will be replacing AleXa who was supposed to have her European debut.
High Tension (높은 장력) is not your typical K-pop act. Formed in 2015 and debuting in 2016 with their track "How I Feel," this self-managed duo has been carving their own path in the music industry. Their goal? To achieve worldwide fame on their own terms, eschewing the traditional K-pop route for a more independent approach.
Their performance promises to be a journey through the spectrum of electronic music, from the pulsing beats of progressive house to the wobbling bass of dubstep, all infused with a rock edge that sets them apart from the crowd.
